Aston Villa Football Academy 1st match report – vs Burton FC (last 32 National Cup) – Wednesday 12 May 2021

Today’s 1^st team game was home against a strong Burton Albion side in the last 32 of the National Cup. Burton are a division 1 side and have only lost once this season, against Macclesfield FC.

A really tough game for the Villa 1^st team saw a great display of football by the division 1 side. Burton were up 3-0 at half time, even with a man sent off. A final 6-0 score saw the Villa side well beaten for the first time this year. Villa also suffering a sending off for Dominic Campbell for 2 yellow cards
