Our curriculum has been structured to allow personalisation of your learning. You may find that you wish to take advantage of elements of different pathways, for example, by taking a mixture of A-levels and Level 3 vocational subjects’.
Applying to Aston Manor Sixth Form
If you are currently a student at Aston Manor Academy, the sixth form team will meet with Year 11 students in the autumn to discuss A-level options and vocational subjects which might best suit your career path.
In November each year, we hold a sixth form open evening to meet with students, parents and carers to explain the subjects and courses we offer, including content, assessment and possible career options or progression to university or college.
Sixth form interviews take place in December and conditional offers are sent out in January.
If students, parents/carers have any questions, please speak to your teacher or make arrangements to meet with Mr Preston, Head of Sixth Form.
Entry Requirements
Please note: to secure your place at Aston Manor Sixth Form, you must ensure you achieve five GCSEs at grade 4-9 (including English and maths at grade 4).

Already a student at Aston Manor Academy?
Sixth form staff will arrange a presentation for all Year 11 Aston Manor Academy students to tell them more about progressing to sixth form and how to apply.
