Developing employability skills sits at the heart of the Sixth Form’s pastoral program. By the time students leave us, they should be equipped both academically and socially, for the demands of the modern working environment. Throughout the duration of their studies, students have the opportunity to access a wide range of information and guidance to equip them with the necessary knowledge for a successful future. Employability workshops and careers guidance sessions offer practical support on the career choices open to students. This knowledge is supplemented with continued visits from both industry leaders and local employers as a result of the Sixth form’s extensive business links. For those wishing to pursue an apprenticeship, our tailored unifrog software, alongside support from the National Apprenticeships Service, helps students to secure placements with renowned companies such Jaguar Landrover, Kaplin and Wilmott Dixon.
